5th Annual Health Hustle Returns To Allen Event Center, Oct. 24th

Lace up those sneakers because the Health Hustle is just around the corner. The free event is geared toward elementary students and will feature games, bounce houses, food samples,and information on how to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. The Health Hustle will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. at the Allen Event Center.

Celebrate Halloween Early at Watters Creek with Bach & Broomsticks, Oct. 20th

Join Watters Creekat Montgomery Farm on Sat., Oct. 20 from noon until 4 p.m. for Bach & Broomsticks, a day filled of Halloween-themed activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. The event will feature Halloween crafts, face painting, balloon art, free hayrides, an instrument petting zoo and much more. ​

Spirit Park Grand Opening Celebration

Come join Mayor Stephen Terrell and the Allen City Council for the Grand Opening Celebration of Allen's new 75-acre community park called Spirit Park with a ceremonial First Pitch at the softball complex and a Public Art Dedication from 5-9 p.m on Saturday, October 6 at Spirit Park.

Americans Get A Point In A Shootout Loss

The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, lost in a shootout to the Wichita Thunder by a score of 6-5 on Friday night at the Intrust Bank Arena. Americans rookie forward Braylon Shmyr had a big night, scoring his first career hat trick and adding an assist in the loss. Allen rookie defenseman Alex Breton scored his first career goal and added two assists.

The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, defeated the Wichita Thunder by a score of 4-0 on Saturday night in front of a packed house.
