Upcoming Events

"Social Security" performed by Allen's Community Theatre, March 17 - April 2nd

Trendy Manhattan art gallery owners Barbara and David Kahn have their domestic tranquility shattered by the arrival of Barbara’s goody goody nerd of a sister, her uptight CPA husband, and her archetypal Jewish Mother. They are headed to Buffalo to rescue their sexually precocious college student daughter from a ménage à trois with two men. The comic sparks really begin to fly when the mother hits it off with the suave, elderly artist who is the art gallery’s best client! * For Mature Audiences

Allen Earthfest, a Science Fair for All Ages, April 1st at Dayspring Nature Preserve

Standing in a sun-dappled field, a woman swirls a two-liter bottle. A group of children crane their heads as she explains how tornados form. She works as an insurance agent, but today she is also a science fair presenter of sorts, offering storm-readiness expertise (and getting face time with potential clients) at one of Allen’s most beloved events, Earthfest.
