Allen's Big Day For Cleaning, Great American Clean Up is April 28th!

Clear out your closets, clean up your yard and participate in Allen's biggest cleanup day!

Residents can donate, recycle and dump nearly anything at one of our designated stations. Now held at a convenient location at Allen City Hall and Butler Drive, cleanup is easier than ever!

The City of Allen and Keep Allen Beautiful are hosting the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at City Hall from 8 am to 1 pm. Residents are invited to clean out their garages and bring donations, bulk, loose brush, recycling, and electronics to be donated or disposed of by local organizations and waste services. Every year this event eliminates over 100,000 lbs. of materials. Residents need to visit the donations area prior to visiting the bulk, electronics recycling, and paper shredding. Electronics recycling and paper shredding are only available for Allen residents with a copy of their water bill or driver’s license.

All traffic must enter the event from the south by turning on Century Parkway from Bethany Drive. Donations must be dropped off at City Hall parking lot prior to bulk, E-Recycling, and shredding drop-offs on Butler Drive. See event flyer for map.

Accepted items include clean and flattened cardboard; household trash and bulky items; yard waste; household appliances and other metal items (Freon removed); televisions and other electronics; furniture, household goods, bicycles, eyeglasses, cell phones, durable medical equipment, and pet products. Also accepted: documents for shredding and medications for disposal. See flyer for full list and drop-off locations.

All donations are located at the Allen City Hall Parking Lot. E-Recycling, shredding, and bulk located at Butler Drive.
