Allen Police to offer Rape Aggression Defense training, starting May 28th




The Allen Police Department will be hosting a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) course, starting Tuesday, May 28th. The course runs for four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30pm. The course requires a one-time $25 registration. This registration is good for life and allows you to retake the course anytime in the future. This course is for women only, starting at age 15 (15-16 require an adult companion).

The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.
