Allen's Community Theatre performs 'The Butler Did It' through Feb. 10th
Allen’s Community Theatre continues its 2018-19 season, “A Season to Die For, Murder, Mystery and Mayhem,” with The Butler Did It by Tim Kelly. This comedy parodies every English mystery play ever written, but with a decidedly American flair.
Miss Maple, a dowager with a reputation for "clever" weekend parties, invites a group of detective writers to eerie Ravenswood Manor on Turkey Island where they are to impersonate their fictional characters. The hostess has arranged all sorts of amusing incidents. Then a real murder takes place, and Miss Maple is outraged. She offers an immense reward to the "detective" who can bring the killer to justice.
Performances: Allen’s Community Theatre (ACT), 1210 E. Main Street #300, Allen, Texas 75002 (SW corner of Allen Heights and Main Street).” The show opens January 25th and runs through February 10th, 2019 with performances Thursdays at 7:30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00, and Sundays at 3:00.
