Dirt Is Moving At Stacy Green
There’s always something going on in Allen, whether it’s family-friendly events at Watter’s Creek or construction on the newest project. A lot of dirt has been moving lately and maybe you’re curious about what’s going where.
Stacy Green, located at the southwest corner of Stacy Road and Central Expressway, is an 80-acre mixed-use development that includes restaurants, shopping, apartments, townhomes, office space, walking/biking trails, a movie theater, hotel, and an open green space.
Planned restaurants include Whiskey Cake, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Blue Fish Sushi, Lupe Tortilla, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, Rosa’s Café, and Original ChopShop. According to their respective websites Lazy Dog will open later this summer, Blue Fish Sushi plans to open December 2019, and Original ChopShop will open early 2020.
Monarch City, located at the southwest corner of the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) and Central Expressway, has recently received zoning approval. It will be over 9 million square feet within 261-acres ofmixed-use development that includes office space, urban residential, shopping, restaurants, trails, and hospitality planned around a central park.
