Last Concert for Watters Creek Fall Series “Concerts by the Creek” This Weekend!
Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm brings back its Concerts by the Creek series this fall. The free, weekly community concerts kick of Saturday, Sept. 7th, at 7 p.m. and will continue through Oct. 19th.
In conjunction with the concert series, the first Saturday of each month is “Music Makes a Difference” night in support of a local charity. On Sept. 7, the recipient will be Carson’s Crusaders, a foundation providing support and assistance to children and families affected by pediatric cancer. For the Oct. 5 show, the recipient will be the Allen Public Safety Recovery Fund, which provides benefits to Allen police officers, firefighters and paramedics injured in the line of duty.
The fall series features:
Saturday, Sept. 7 | Tantric Saints (Eclectic)
Saturday, Sept. 14 | Random Axis Band (Hits from the ‘70s to Today)
Saturday, Sept. 21 | TOP Band (Motown & Classic Jammin’ Oldies)
Saturday, Sept. 28 | Diva G & High Maintenance (Party Band)
Saturday, Oct. 5 | The 8Tracks (Tribute to the Icons of Rock)

Saturday, Oct. 19 | Infinite Journey (The Music of Journey)
“We are excited to continue our 2019 Concerts by the Creek series into the fall, and we know concert-goers will love this season’s vast variety of bands,” said Debra Martinez, marketing director for Watters Creek. “With our wide array of dining options, guests can make a night of it with dinner either before, at the restaurant of their choice, or during the concerts by taking their meals to-go and dining on The Green while enjoying the concert.”
Watters Creek offers guests concert tips and guidelines for a more enjoyable listening experience. Blankets are allowed for comfortable seating. All other outdoor chairs must sit to the side or back of the lawn so as not to block the view of another guest. Due to restaurant support of this series, coolers with outside food/beverage are not permitted on The Green. Guests are welcome to bring to-go orders from the Watters Creek restaurants and Market Street. Alcohol is not permitted. Pets are not allowed on The Green. Guests should arrive 15 minutes prior the performance. Schedule is subject to change.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be cancelled. A determination of weather-altered plans will be made by 3 p.m. on the day of the concert. Check Watters Creek Facebook page for updates the day of the concert.
