Watters Creek Spring Series “Concerts by the Creek” runs through June

Whether it's family night or date night, the return of Watters Creek at Montgomery Farms’ popular, free, outdoor music series, Concerts by the Creek is sure to bring the community together. The spring series kicks off Saturday, April 7 with The Inspiration Band playing fun dance hits. The spring series concludes on Saturday, June 23; however, on Friday, June 29 Watters Creek hosts its annual Patriotic Salute featuring the Allen Philharmonic Winds. Concerts are from 7 – 9 p.m. on The Green. In May, over Mother’s Day weekend and the Allen Arts Festival, an additional concert will take place on Friday from 7 – 9 p.m.

Allen's Community Theatre presents Last Round-up of the Guacamole Queens the completion of the Verdeen Cousins saga from the comic playwright trio Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. The show opens April 27 and runs through May 13, 2018 with performances Thursdays at 7:30 at Allen's Community Theatre
